In the run of everyday events we suddenly realize that it has become difficult to live, that others don't understand us and that obtrusive thoughts, fear and depression have begun to appear. Feelings of loneliness, lack of support and problems at work and in the family deny you any peace. If even one of these aforementioned prevents you meeting the day with a smile, then come and see a psychotherapist. In modern civilized society, people without internal conflicts practically don't exist. Anxiety is connected with stress or external situations called neurosis. Neurosis is already a norm nowadays, it firmly established itself as a fashion at the time of 'Freud'. The attitude of people towards neurosis varies: many exaggerate their suffering, some elevate their importance, some discover a special meaning in them; others are tortured by them all their lives, attempt to ignore them, interpret them for themselves, or most often of all, seek asylum from them (at work, in someone else, in religion, in fantasy, in illness), turn to alcohol or forget, etc. By running away from your suffering you are running away from yourself.
Most mental illnesses lead to two basic effects: anxiety (tension, fear, panic) and depression (decrease in life tone, melancholy, emptiness, loss of interest). Addressing a psychotherapist allows you to adequately and objectively evaluate your own mental state and determine what needs to be done to achieve the desired effect. The doctor will select the kind of therapy that you need and whether you need to take medicine and, if so, what kind. According to your wishes you can resolve the question about embarking on a course of psychotherapy.
Psychotherapy is a method of treatment, a separate type of interpersonal interaction, through which the patient gets professional psychological help with, possibly, prescribed medicines. Psychotherapy is located at the juncture of medicine, psychology, psychiatry, pedagogy, social science and clinical pharmacology. Psychotherapy, in point of fact, unites all of these disciplines. Psychotherapy, as a scientific discipline was born 200 years ago, at the time of experiments with electricity, magnetism and so-called hypnotism. Namely through an understanding of 'animal magnetism' and 'hypnotism' at the end of the 19th century. In point of fact hypnosis is a historically based psychotherapy. Nowadays, psychotherapists are addressed by the widest spectrum of problems - from problems with communications (social phobias), love, conflicts over family relations to the development psychosomatic disturbances.
Psychotherapy should be used with mental illnesses such as neurasthenia, worry, disappointment and phobias, depression and psychosomatic disturbances.
A psychotherapist is a doctor. It is a person who has a high education and obtained a specialization in psychotherapy. A practicing psychotherapist is not a doctor. A psychiatrist is a doctor that works with "more serious mental conditions". The difference between a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist is that a doctor-psychotherapist possesses (and is obliged to possess) methods of interpersonal interaction with patients.  Psychotherapeutic interaction - is a medicinal interaction, in the execution of which a person has the possibility to examine his mental problem more objectively, draw upon his internal resources, survive "forgotten" experience and receive support.
